Professor Lambrinoudaki was born in Athens and graduated from Athens University Medical School. She conducted her Medical Thesis in the Ruprecht Karls University in Heidelberg, Germany on the Epidemiology of osteoporosis in association with endogenous sex hormones. She was trained in Clinical Endocrinology in the Department of Pathophysiology, Athens University Medical School and in the Departments of Endocrinology and Metabolism, in Ruprecht Karls University, Heidelberg, Germany, in Nikaia General District Hospital, Piraeus, Greece and in Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hong Kong. Currently she is Associate Professor of Gynecological Endocrinology in the 2nd Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology, University of Athens, Greece. She has been responsible for educational, clinical and research activities in the Menopause Clinic of the Department since 2000. Up to date she has authored over 100 publications in peer-reviewed international journals, mainly on menopause, hormone therapy and osteoporosis. She is Secretary General of the Hellenic Society of Climacterium and Menopause, Vice – President of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS) and Editorial Board Member of the journal Maturitas.
Faustino R. Pérez-López is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the University of Zaragoza (UZ) and Head of Gynaecology at the Lozano Blesa University Hospital. Previously he was Ford Foundation fellow at the University of Brussels, Saint Pierre Hospital, and the Center for the Health Center, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) School of Medicine. He has also been vice-dean of the UZ Faculty of Medicine. Since 2008, he is a member of the Spanish Board of University Professorship (ANECA) for the selection of professors of surgical specialties.
Currently he is the Chairman of the Hispanoamerican Research Group of Obstetrics and Gynecology and peer reviews for 30 impact factor journals. He is a Senior Editorial Advisor for Maturitas and the General Secretary of European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS).

Professor Rees is a Reader Emeritus in Reproductive Medicine at the University of Oxford. She is also a visiting professor at the University of Glasgow , Karolinska Institute and University of Turku: and an Adjunct Associate Professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.
Professor Rees has over 250 publications including 20 textbooks in reproductive and postreproductive health some of which have been highly commended by the British Medical Association (BMA) and translated into Russian and Chinese. Over the past decade she has also branched into research and publication ethics.
Currently she is the President of the European Menopause and Andropause Society (EMAS), Editor in Chief of the journal Maturitas, secretary of the Committee of Publication Ethics, chair elect of the Association of Research Ethics Committees (AREC), chair of a National Health Service research ethics committee and member of the Central University of Oxford ethics committee (CUREC) and the Elsevier ethics committee.
